Recording for BBC One

What a pleasure to perform an original song, ‘Under the Poppies’ by Natalie Fooks (@nataliefooks) and an original arrangement of the Christmas classic, ‘Silent Night’, alongside the ever-talented Dominic Ferris (@dominicferrismusic) for BBC One’s show Songs of Praise.

Natalie’s original song ‘Under the Poppies’ will air early November to commemorate Remembrance Day, and ‘Silent Night’ in early December. It was an exciting and relatively novel experience for me (although I had appeared on the TV program Going Underground back in 2017, see blog post here). Natalie sounded great a always and I can’t wait to watch the results on BBC One. More details on exact dates to be updated shortly.

Thank you to all involved in making this possible, especially Natalie and her mother Ann for inviting me.
