And finally, here it is... The official music video of the third and final single from the album 'Ocean Sky’ entitled 'Sleepy Heads’.

04/08/23 - Music Video Coming Soon...
The time has come for the little surprise. 🎥 👀
I have been working with the fantastic filmmakers over at @storeelpictures and a couple of fantastic actors (@beccawillis_x and @lee_backhouse ) on a music video for the third single and fifth song on the album “Ocean Sky”, entitled “Sleepy Heads”.
This one is very different to any other music videos I’ve had the pleasure of being involved in and we are very proud of it (along with the legends that are @laurendparr @mihaigp @baishya394)

01/08/23 - GOATFEST 2023 (25-26-27 August)
Goatfest Live Music Festival is a family-friendly celebration of live music and award-winning street food situated in the heart of the Hertfordshire countryside.
For well over a decade now, Goatfest has created the fantastically fun atmosphere of a boutique festival that has become one of the jewels in the British county's crown.
With families and festival-goers of all ages welcomed, Goatfest invites an array of pop icons to soundtrack a weekend of equally excellent eating, with the likes of Tony Christie, Sandi Thom, and Grandmaster Flash all performing in recent editions.
There's non-stop music throughout the entire weekend, so you may very well find your favourite new artist too.
I shall be performing on the SNUG Stage on 26th August with the talented Laura Williamson on cello from 6.30 - 7.10 pm sharp. Don't miss it!
13/06/23 - Live Dates July 2023
I am delighted to announce two main events for now for the month of July. The first will be at the wonderful West Hampstead Arts Club in London where I’ll be performing a stripped back set with the lovely Laura Williamson on cello and talented Jack Shelton on lead guitar.

The second is at the incredible Utcazene Music Festival in Veszprém - Hungary. Four days of absolute fun.
Always love performing there and the vibe is electric. So much talent squeezed into this lovely little place.
If you have the chance to get there I would highly recommend.

20/03/23 - Second Album Update!
Quick update on musical progress and reason for silence on here lately.
The album "Ocean Sky" is celebrating a year since it’s release and can't thank you enough for the support.
The next full-length album will be called
Urban Tales and am currently head down writing it.
Love the creative process as always and can’t wait to get some new material out soon.

27/07/22 - The upcoming concert at The Water Rats in King's Cross - London
To celebrate the release of the B-side of the album
Ocean Sky, entitled
Struck From Above, we have booked the mythical venue The Water Rats in the heart of London.
This will be the biggest event to date: Bob Dylan himself played his very first UK gig at this very venue in 1962.

I am proud to announce that in precisely a week from now (on 04/05/22) the music video for the fourth track of the album
Ocean Sky, entitled
The Mouth Of The Sea, will be released on all social platforms (YouTube, IG, Facebook…).
This would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the talented videographer Max Wyllie (@max.wyllie) who had a great vision for the locations of the shoot. After watching the final edit I must say I am extremely proud of this one.

13/02/22 - Filming sessions for Sleepy Head music video.
On Sunday I had the pleasure to welcome the full band to the BBC Elstree Centre to start filming sessions for the Sleepy Heads music video. A simple yet effective set up that went extremely well with the final video currently in the editing process so stay tuned for its release.
I think Ben had binged quite a bit of the Beatles' Get Back documentary on Netflix before that day!

Hey all! The release of the full-length album Ocean Sky on all streaming platforms is drawing near: under a month to go now!
And to celebrate we have, for the fourth time running booked the Piano Smithfield in Barbican as the ideal venue to perform an all original set with the full band + we will be performing 2 exclusive new songs for the first time.
I’ll have the honour to welcome back Jack Shelton on lead guitar, Brad King on drums and Ben Barber on bass.
We also have as opening acts the amazing Jack Shelton (aka Jack Elliott on guitar/vocals) and Ben Barber (piano/vocals)!
For the purchase of a ticket you will get a download code at the event to get the WHOLE album ahead of its release so don't miss out! In addition to this there will be some exclusive new merchandise and of course the singles CDs will still be available.

“Of course we are inevitably all part of this new digital age and there isn’t much any of us can do about it, but I believe that there must be a balance, and that this balance should always tend towards spending more time being creative, improving as an artist and being less focused on the next trend, big thing, or social media platform. Yes use the internet to your advantage and learn from what it has to offer in terms of promoting your creativity, but be wary of the rabbit hole of social media and FOMO, don’t let it get in the way of your sensibility and integrity as an artist.”

And this concludes the second 4 day festival in Hungary for the Veszprém Street Festival (@utcazene).
I have warm memories of coming here back in 2018, and this one did not disappoint.
Travelling this time with my brother in arms Jami (@jamihilton) who brought some sweet blues vibes to the festival made it even more special.
Thank you to all who made this possible and truly exceptional once again; especially Ági (@mad_agi) for the incredible organisational skills and Flóra Vangelista for looking after me during the stay. A special thanks to the staff at Papírkutya (@papirkutya_vp) for their professionalism and warm welcome!

Well this concludes the first festival in Budapest.
Performing Heart Strings and The Mouth Of The Sea here: the very last (written during lockdown) and the first song (7 years ago) I play live.
It felt so good to get out there again and perform original material in front of an attentive crowd, I love you Hungary.
I can't wait to play the second festival in Veszprém where @jamihilton will join me for some more adventures.
I'm also looking forward to playing these originals with a full band live on the 15th September (Tickets at link in BIO). Who's coming?

20/07/21 - Heart In The Sand Single Launch Gig!
My fellow followers, friends, family and all of you beautiful supporters, the 15th September is the beginning of my debut album Ocean Sky's exciting journey! I want you all to come and celebrate this special event with a live performance of the whole album with a full band on the 15th September 2021 at Piano Smithfield in Barbican (@piano_smithfield).
I am proud to announce that Heart In The Sand will be the first single of the album and I sincerely can't wait to play it, along with the other songs featuring on Ocean Sky to you all. Jack Shelton (check his music out here: @jjack_elliott) will be opening the night with his unique style & talent.

07/06/21 - Mixing & Mastering Completed!
Last album update all!
The album is finally MIXED AND MASTERED!
The launch night of the first single will be on the 15th of September at Piano Smithfield in Barbican - London where I’ll be performing songs from the album along with some of my favourite covers.
Tickets will be available shortly so keep your eyes peeled.
And... Don’t forget this Wednesday at 6.30 pm I will be performing on Facebook live where I will also be showcasing a few songs from the album with some timeless covers.

21/05/21 - In Conversation With Mixing Engineer Toby
Last week's final conversation with my mixing engineer @tobymetway about teaching in lockdown and sorting out the final tweaks to the album before sending all the tracks off to @paulwinaudio to master who has done an amazing job already.
Toby and Paul have done some incredible work on the album and I would strongly recommend him to anyone seeking to produce high quality music.

I have been working hard on creating a template for the Newsletters that I shall be sending out monthly to my subscribers starting on the 1st of May, to join the ride please visit the Home page of this website where you will be prompted to enter your email address. No spam or annoying content will be sent out, just an honest and personal monthly update concerning events, news, anecdotes, fun facts about the creation of the album and other musical projects I'm involved in (The Wild & Stray etc.).
This is for me a more personal and direct way of interacting with my followers rather than relying solely on the sometimes impersonal posting that characterises social media.

Thank you Miles and Andrew for lending their beautiful violin and cello playing to this track and many more on the album, they have transformed the songs in such a profound way and I look forward to performing them one day on a stage with an actual audience (yes I did just say that!) in the near future let's hope!
The whole filming process was incredibly productive and it felt so good to just play with other musicians and just be part of a creative process again.
A special thanks to Joe and Marco for their incredible skills and tricks behind the cameras, and of course to Craig and Voichita for making the whole thing possible in the first place!
18/03/21 - ALBUM UPDATE!
A rather lengthy update for the album this time!
Reflecting on a year of COVID restrictions and lockdown that has brought most of the music industry to a standstill.
Still, a lot has been achieved and work on the album has been for the most part a success story.
Thank you all for your continued support and I look forward to releasing this finally.

12/02/21 - Interview in Veszprem - Hungary [From February 2020 Festival]
Throwback to one year ago already in February 2020. Time is flying fast it seems.
A little interview I did on the second morning of a 3 day gig at a little venue called
Papírkutya
in Veszprém - Hungary for the Capital of Culture 2023.
I remember being a little sleepy after the first night, and as I was slowly emerging from my slumber as I sat at the piano the only song that came to mind was
Your Song
by Elton John. I recall liking how it resonated throughout the venue.
I miss these little intimate moments being face to face just talking about music and inspiration over a coffee. But above all I miss these times when I would just travel abroad, play my music and meet the kindest, welcoming people ever.
I look forward to returning to Hungary once things get back to normal, I have such warm memories of performing there.
I also mention that the album would be available in a few months… Little did I know the how hectic the whole process would become just a few weeks later with COVID, but I’m so happy to be able to say today that we’re nearly there… finally!
On a side note there is some exciting news coming very soon so stay tuned!

07/02/21 - Fantastic Voyage The Exhibition!
Adam Geras Klein is doing an exhibition of his Bowie tribute photos from his book
Fantastic Voyage
in collaboration with the Kooks. It will be this Sunday 7th of February 2021 from 6pm to 8pm and everyone's welcome!
I had the pleasure to pose for Adam in Brixton back in July 2019 for this and am honoured to be a part of his Bowie tribute impersonating a young Bob Dylan.
Adam will be there 'Virtually' to talk about his work.

Despite Covid delays I am elated and very proud to say that all instruments and vocals for debut the 14 track album have been recorded and are ready to be sent off to the mixing/mastering engineer!

A massive thanks to the legends Andrew (@andrewjunyoung) and Miles (@youknowitsmiles) for recording their incredible string sections these past couple of days for the album.
I had an idea of how it would sound and I had prepared scores. But they went beyond my vision and their creative input really helped make the songs shine. I’m elated that they’ve come along for the ride!

During the early lockdown months, I posted new songs to my IGTV channel of some originals and covers.

In addition to these home session videos it was an absolute pleasure to play just outside our house in support of the NHS on Thursday nights just after the clap, the neighbours all joined in and it made for a fantastic atmosphere!

Veszprémi Utcazene Fesztivál - Hungary
Every street in downtown Veszprém was filled with music till the morning from July 18 to July 21, thanks to MOL Nagyon Balaton: musicians arrived from all across the world to play at the Veszprém Street Music Festival.
Besides street musicians, famous performers also played free gigs. This is an experience that you could hardly get at any other festival.
I had the best time performing at this music festival for 4 days in Hungary! Met some of the nicest and most talented people!

Organised by Alistair Morrison and Roger Daltrey and in support of the teenage cancer trust (The Adoration Trilogy project), on the 6th and the 13th of November I had the honour of playing with Rod Stewart and performing in front of legends such as Roger Daltrey, John Paul Jones, Alice Cooper, Tom Jones, Paul Weller, Ray Davies and many more at the V&A in London.
